Suffice to say, everyone’s favorite British spy probably knows a good travel shoe when he see one. And when it comes to his favorite brand, it hardly gets better than this.

New from Crockett & Jones, a 19th century Northampton shoemaker that outfitted Bond in Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die, the latest rendition of the Harvard 2 arrives as the final boss of travel loafers.

The design takes form around Crockett & Jones’s 376 last, which gives it a traditional toe shape with a sculpted heel cup to reduce slippage, especially when worn without socks.

Flex Goodyear welts, meanwhile, prioritize comfort and minimize the break-in period that comes from traditional Goodyear welts. However, they also allow the accompanying rubber sole to be replaced with ease.

That all said, the real star here is Crockett & Jones’s choice of leather, available in black or brown.

Named Milled Calf, it resembles old-school grain leather, but a drumming process at the tannery results in a softer, glove-like texture straight out of the box.

The Milled Calf version of the Harvard 2 is available now in black and “Walnut” colorways. Both versions cost $890.
