The fashion industry is oversaturated with collaborations, most of which are half-hearted marketing ploys with forgettable products. But occasionally, two brands come together to produce something truly unique that is more than the sum of its parts.
Levi’s and Barbour have done just that.

On paper, the transatlantic project between two brands with equally iconic standing, both representatives of their respective countries, creates so much hype that a letdown feels almost inevitable.
And yet, the result is better than I could have imagined. It comprises ten products, including five jackets, which are all hits. The centerpiece is a Barbour’s flagship Bedale jacket built with Levi’s denim, including all the detailing used to construct and finish the world’s most famous jeans.
The golden brown stitching, reinforcement rivets, signed snaps, decorative pocket stitching and — of course — the red tab are all there.
