The Vans Super Lowpro Sneaker was first introduced in March 2025, but even then the silhouette wasn’t an entirely new concept.
The flat-soled sneaker drew its inspiration from the brand’s own archives — specifically, the Serio running line from the ’70s and ’80s, and even more specifically, the Serio Competition Shoe Style 84.

Trendsetters and sneakerheads alike appreciated the sleek, low-profile design.
Now, Vans has upped the ante on itself, releasing a premium version of the sneaker that builds in four excellent colorways and a novel customization feature.
Why so Serio?
The Premium Super Lowpro Trainer, like its 2025 predecessor, draws on low-profile, vintage track-inspired styles from the brand’s own extensive catalog, merging heritage details with modern additions.
