Wait. Another better, more powerful Android phone has landed? Such are the pains of progress. Based off the Samsung Galaxy S, the new Google Nexus S ($529) comes armed with a curved glass 4″ AMOLED Contour Display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread pre-installed, Near Field Communications, 16GB of onboard storage, 512MB of RAM, 6.7 hours of talk time, and a mighty 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor. A 5 megapixel camera with 720P video capture, and front-facing camera round out capture capabilities. Oh, and it’s available unlocked out of the box. It may not be the nuclear fast 4G Nexus we had hoped for, but it’s still an impressive piece of hardware.
