Being strapped for battery life hasn’t been a major complaint of the iPhone X. It has a 2716 mAh battery versus the iPhone 8 Plus’s 2675 mAh battery, yet, because it has a bigger screen-to-body ratio, the iPhone X actually gets about as much battery life as the smaller iPhone 8. It’s fine — the iPhone X lasts about a day on a single charge — but for those looking to stretch the run time of their iPhone X, you can certainly get a charging case that also works with your current Qi-wireless charger. A number of them already exist, such as this one by Alpatronix or this one by Press Play, but Mophie, which is a much more trusted accessory maker, is currently rumored to be working on Qi-wireless charging case as well.

The real noteworthy tidbit here is that the rumored Mophie charging case will be the first one to be Qi-certified by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) — meaning you can trust that’ll work well. The case is expected to add 1,720 mAH to your iPhone X, or roughly nine hours of use. And if the first photos are to be believed, the case won’t add that much girth to the beautiful and slim phone. There currently isn’t any concrete info on availability or pricing. For more information, check the links below.
