iPhone Rumor: There Will Be More Ways to Customize Your iPhone Than Ever Before

We haven’t seen this many colorways since the iPhone 5c.

It feels like just yesterday that the iPhone X was unveiled to the world, but we’re edging closer and closer to that one-year anniversary. And as September approaches, that means we’re getting closer to the reveal of more new iPhones. It’s been rumored for a while that most next-gen iPhones will look like the iPhone X — edge-to-edge display, notch for Face ID, no home button, vertical-oriented rear camera system — and that’s still true, with Apple expected to reveal an iPhone X Plus with a 6.5-inch screen and cheaper-but-upgraded model of the current iPhone X.

However, the third new model will be the outlier.

It’s expected to be noticeably cheaper than the other new iPhones — around $700 — with slim bezels like the ones on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, but it’ll have Face ID and pretty impressive rear camera system (vertically oriented). Also unique, according to an earlier 9to5Mac report, these more affordable iPhones will come in playful colors. Whereas it’s been a tradition for Apple to release its iPhones in space gray or silver finishes, and then later in red as a collaboration with Product (RED), these new iPhones could be available in gold, red, blue and orange. Maybe gold and white will be options, too. If you get excited by finish options, this rumor is pretty cool, as it won’t have been since the iPhone 5c that there have been so many finishes to customize to iPhone.

So, if those rumors were true, which new colorway would you choose?
