It’s a bit hyperbolic to say, really, as these days there are so many wireless chargers that do essentially the same thing. They support wireless fast charging. They come with a wall adapter. And they look pretty neat, adding a bit a flair to your nightstand or office desk. But Logitech’s first wireless charger ticks all those boxes.
Named the Logitech Powered Wireless Charging Stand ($70), it’s the perfect shape to house any of the latest iPhones. It’s white, which for whatever reason feels oddly “Apple.” And it’s designed so you can flip the iPhone to landscape mode, so you can watch Netflix or YouTube and still charge the phone.
There are some downsides, however. You probably shouldn’t get this wireless charger if you don’t have an iPhone. It supports wireless up to 7.5-watts, which is perfect for iPhones but won’t wireless charge the latest Android smartphones (which support up to 9.0-watts) at their fastest speeds. It also has a fixed integrated cable that you can’t pop out to charge a non-Qi-supported device. Basically, it’s not that versatile.
However, if you’re looking to buy a wireless charger and you like the look and design of the Logitech Powered Wireless Charging Stand, plus you don’t mind spending $70 (expensive), you can purchase it on the company’s website today.
