Looking for a cheap alternative to Apple’s absurdly expensive iPad keyboards? Logitech just released one. It’s called the Slim Folio Pro, and it starts at $120 — almost $60 cheaper than the Apple version.
The Slim Folio Pro offers additional functionality, too. It has backlit keys and a dedicated row of iOS shortcut keys to control things like screen brightness and volume. The keys will also automatically light up as soon as the tablet is slid into place.
It’s not all roses, though. Logitech’s keyboard has to be charged, although it has a three-month battery life and uses the same USB-C cable as the iPad Pro. The stand also only has one viewing angle.
It’s worth noting that Apple trusts Logitech’s accessories, which are sold in Apple stores around the world. While the Slim Folio Pro isn’t there yet, we expect the keyboard to find its way eventually. In the meantime, you can buy it directly from Logitech.
