NYC-based Martenero’s Edgemere and Edgemere Reserve are two of our favorite watches. Inspired in part by the marine chronometer, Martenero’s John Tarantino took a typically conservative design and injected it with bright colors, making for fun timepieces that you can wear every day. The original Edgemere was a time-only watch with a small, offset running sub-seconds, while the Edgemere Reserve added a 24-hour indicator and power reserve.
Martenero has teamed up with our friends over at Worn & Wound on a special edition of the Edgemere Reserve, featuring a new dial in white, dark grey, red and black. If you enjoy the look of the Reserve but would prefer a more subdued color palette that can be worn in a variety of settings, then this is probably the model for you. Each of the limited edition watches is individually numbered (out of 75 pieces), and the Worn & Wound logo has been added to their artwork. Each watch also ships with an American-made black leather strap, only available on the LE, and a Navy American-made Worn & Wound ADPT NATO strap.
The Edgemere Reserve Limited Edition is available now for preorder at Worn & Wound’s Wind Up Watch Shop, shipping in June, for $750, and the rest of the Edgermere Reserve line is currently available for $695.
