Nomos is beloved for its value-forward, in-house-movement-equipped watches and its German approach to stylish, minimalist design. The Tangente is one of the brand’s most popular collections, with a distinct Bauhaus aesthetic and a range of sizes and dial colors available. Two new versions, in two sizes, have just been introduced, each with a deep dial hue christened Midnight Blue.
One model has a 38mm-wide case with shiny silver dial elements, while the other is 35mm wide with gold dial highlights. These sizes are becoming more popular in men’s watches, but Nomos has been offering them all along to the delight of watch enthusiasts that rolled their eyes at the big watch trend. The brand also suggests the new Midnight Blue Tangente watches could work as a couple’s pair. Both are steel and remain thin thanks in part to the manually wound Nomos Alpha movement inside, offering 43 hours of power reserve.
Competitively priced for watches with feature sets that often cost much more, the Nomos Tangente Midnight Blue has a price starting at $2,030 for the 38mm version and $1,900 for the 35mm version. Both come on a leather strap with upgrade options available, such as engravings and a sapphire crystal display case back.
