Editor’s Note: Watches & Wonders (formerly SIHH) and Baselworld 2020 are canceled but that hasn’t stopped watch brands large and small from debuting their new wares. To stay on top of this year’s best new watch releases, visit our tag page.

Zodiac’s Super Sea Wolf 68 Saturation is a hardcore dive watch with some vintage aesthetics that the brand has continued to refine with a new model for 2020. Water-resistant to 1,000m and featuring a chunky 44mm-wide case, the latest version is chronometer-certified, includes a steel bracelet, and has an ever-so-slightly smaller diameter than previous versions. It’s also got fiery orange highlights for a retro-sporty touch to its otherwise serious tool watch vibe.

The new Super Sea Wolf 68 Saturation follows limited editions like that recently made in collaboration with diver and photographer Andy Mann, but this one is intended for serial production. Despite trimming off a millimeter of diameter in comparison to the previous 45mm versions, make no mistake: this is not a watch for the faint-wristed, with considerable measurements amplified by the barrel-like case shape. A tall domed sapphire crystal contributes to its presence and 16mm thickness.

The Super Sea Wolf 68 Saturation is powered the the STP 3-13, an automatic movement with a power reserve of 44 hours made by Zodiac’s sister company under the Fossil Group. With a price of $1,595, the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 68 Saturation reference ZO9509 is available online directly from the brand.
