Editor’s Note: Watches & Wonders (formerly SIHH) has moved online and Baselworld 2020 is canceled, but that hasn’t stopped watch brands large and small from debuting their new wares. Stay on top of this year’s best new watch releases here.
The BR 03-92 is the quintessential Bell & Ross timepiece. Inspired by the dashboard instruments in fighter jet cockpits, its square case shape is unmistakable and largely put the French watchmaker on the modern horological map. Over the years, it’s formed the basis of countless cool iterations, from last year’s Bi-Compass to this year’s HUD. Now, for those of you who’ve been itching to assault a wintry mountaintop fortress a la the finale of (spoiler alert!) Inception, you can finally nab a BR 03-92 with a white-pattern camouflage dial.
Limited to 999 pieces, the BR 03-92 White Camo is the same BR 03-92 we all know and love (42mm matte black ceramic case; automatic movement with date; 100m of water resistance; sapphire crystal), but done up with a cool, two-piece overlapping dial: the upper part features the grey and white camo pattern and cut-out indicies, white the lower is covered in black Super-LumiNova and shines through the cutouts. The tips of the handset are also covered in black Super-LumiNova, and the watch ships on a matching grey-and-white camo calfskin strap, as well as a black rubber strap.
While it may be a tad late to use the new BR 03-92 for 2020 skiing, that doesn’t mean you can’t nab one and sit on it until the slopes are open again next season. The ref. BR0392-CG-CE/SCA is available directly from the brand for $3,800.
