Last summer, Norqain proved it was more than a one-trick pony by launching a headline-grabbing watch that didn’t belong to its blockbuster Wild One family.
Watches and Wonders Geneva: Rolex, Grand Seiko and dozens of other heavy hitters gather in Switzerland every year to release their biggest watches. Catch up on all the new novelties.
The watch was the Freedom Chrono “Enjoy Life” Special Edition, an ice cream-themed version of the brand’s vintage-inspired sports chronograph. It featured a white dial with its three subdials colored in pastel shades of blue, green and pink, and the tachymeter scale split into the same three corresponding colors.

Most notably, the watch’s 4:30 date window displayed an ice cream cone every seventh day, with the intention of reminding its wearers to enjoy life and take time to reward themselves. The watch unexpectedly became a viral hit for Norqain, aided by brand fan and Hollywood horological heavyweight Mark Wahlberg touting it as the watch of the summer on social media.
While not technically launched as a limited edition, Norqain has now ended production of the “Enjoy Life,” but don’t worry. At Watches and Wonders earlier this month in Geneva, the brand added two more scoops to its summery ice cream chronograph with a pair of brand-new versions.
