OrtofonOrtofon MC Vertex
The Ortofon MC Vertex is the company’s most advanced moving-coil phono cartridge to date. At its core is a newly developed diamond stylus, which Ortofon calls the Vertex diamond, and explains that it “combines advanced geometry, diamond-on-diamond construction, and precision manufacturing to deliver high resolution, clarity, and long-term consistency.” At $17,000, it’s a phono cartridge designed for truly elite audiophile turntables.
New West KnifeWorksNew West KnifeWorks Timberline SureGrip Outfitter
NWKW’s most reliable hunting knife gets even better with notable upgrades to both its blade and handle. Regarding the former, the 3.5-inch drop-point blade now features CPM MagnaCut Steel, prized for its supreme blend of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. As for the latter, alternating rubber and G10 layers promise a “SureGrip,” even when slick with water or blood, and this particular new edition stands out thanks to its unique aesthetic, inspired by the mountains around the brand’s birthplace of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
XboxXbox Series X25
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Xbox’s release, the company has introduced a limited-edition version of its current flagship console, the Xbox Series X, and its accompanying wireless controller, both in its iconic translucent-green finish. A neat detail: the “X” power button on both lights up in green (instead of white), which is another nod to the original Xbox. The console and controller will be available together as a limited edition collection in November 2026. At the time of writing, pricing info has not been revealed.
KizerKizer Feist 3 Hawkbill
Although not entirely novel, a hawkbill-bladed EDC knife is a rare sight to behold. Even more rare is the hawkbill-bladed EDC knife that isn’t aggressively tactical or curved like a karambit. But this Kizer pulls it off beautifully, offering ergonomics and a shape more in line with classic EDC knives while also presenting a less straightforward blade shape (which just so happens to be great for opening packages, as the tip can hook into the packing tape). It doesn’t hurt that this blade is positively overbuilt, boasting a DLC-coated S90V steel blade and DLC titanium and camo carbon handle scales.
RollmeRollme VisionCase
Phone cases with built-in touchscreens are nothing new but they typically aren’t as simplified or affordable as Rollme’s VisionCase. The $50 accessory features a round 1.85-inch HD display that allows you to read texts, see notifications, and tell the time without turning your phone over. It also improves the art of selfie-taking by utilizing your superior rear cameras for the task. Aside from utility, the screen can also be customized with any image and has retro-style games you can play. At the moment, it’s only available for iPhone 17 Pro Max.
