16 Watches Worn by the NBA Champion New York Knicks

As a diehard Knicks fan since the early 1990s, I am still in shock that the team I’ve loyally followed for as far back as I can remember has finally won a championship.

On June 13, the Knicks knocked off the Spurs in San Antonio in game five of the NBA Finals, capping off one of the most impressive runs in NBA Playoffs history that saw, among other things, a 13-game win streak that included 9 straight on the road (a playoff record), three 30-point closeout victories on the road (also a record) and two 20-point comebacks.

It was a magical run that I’ll never forget. But as impressive as the Knicks were on the court, their off-court style was nearly as good … especially when it comes to their watches.

Below, I’ve rounded up some of the best watches the Knicks have been spotted wearing during this championship season.

Jalen Brunson

Unsurprisingly, the captain and Finals MVP has one of the strongest wrist games on the team. Like most of his teammates, Brunson wears a lot of Rolex, usually one of several Day-Date or GMT-Master II references (he seems to favor the “Bruce Wayne“). But he’s also branched out with the Patek Philippe Cubitus and the very orange Norqain Independence Skeleton Chrono.

Karl-Anthony Towns

KAT has been spotted wearing Audemars Piguet and Jacob & Co., but his go-to seems to be the Rolex Daytona. I don’t think I’ve ever seen OG wear a watch before, but I’m including him here as an excuse to show his miraculous game-winning tip-in from game 4.

Josh Hart

Hart is, by far, the most significant watch collector on the team… he was even profiled in the latest issue of Hodinkee Magazine. While he frequently wears a number of Rolex and Patek Philippe models, notably the Yacht-Master 40 in Everose gold (Ref. 126655) and the Nautilus Moonphase in rose gold (Ref. 5712/1R), Hart is a dyed-in-the-wool enthusiast who also branches out with lesser-known independent brands.

Some recent favorites include the Gerald Charles Maestro GC Sport London Jewelers 100th Anniversary (1 of 10) and a very Knicks-appropriate Moser Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua.

Mikal Bridges

Bridges is strictly a Rolex guy and is most often seen wearing a GMT-Master II “Batgirl.” He’s made sure all of his teammates are down with The Crown, too, as he famously gifted every Knick a new Rolex this past Christmas, including Brunson’s “Bruce Wayne.”

Deuce McBride

Deuce is one of the team’s youngest stars and is on one of their smaller contracts, so he’s yet to build up a collection on par with the heavy hitters. Like Bridges, he’s almost always seen wearing a Rolex GMT-Master “Batgirl,” which was likely a gift from his generous teammate, as I can’t find a picture of him wearing it from before last Christmas.

Landry Shamet

Shamet became known for two things over the course of these playoffs: his insane sharpshooting from three in the Eastern Conference Finals and his impeccable fits before every game. Shamet’s style is filled with timeless style, as evidenced by the Tudor Black Fifty-Eight he’s worn off and on for the past couple of years. He wears other classically sized watches too, but none that I’ve been able to positively identify.

Jordan Clarkson

Clarkson is the Knicks’ fashionista. He’s always showing up to games looking like he just stepped off a runway, and he’s a favorite of haute couture labels.
