To zero fanfare, Apple has stealthily added a bunch of new accessories from reputable brands (such as Twelve South, Belkin and Mophie) to its online store. This includes docking stations, charging cables, AirTag cases, portable power banks and much, much more.
Additionally, as a sort of summer celebration, Apple has partnered with many of these brands to release exclusive versions of existing accessories in fun colors, such as teal, hot pink and light blue.
We’ve highlighted a few of these new accessories below. For the full list of the new gadgets that Apple has started selling, check out the New Product Arrivals page from its online store.
Twelve South
Twelve South PowerClip Power Bank & Charger
Twelve South’s PowerClip is an ultracompact portable power bank that’s about the size of an AirPods Pro case. It has a 2000mAh capacity, meaning it can charge most smartphones from zero to around 30-percent. It’s also integrated with two USB-C charging cables, one of which supports passthrough power. This means you can use it to draw power from a larger device (like a MacBook) to simultaneously recharge the PowerClip and charge a secondary device (like an iPhone). Lastly, it has a built-in ring and an attachable carabiner, so you can clip it onto a keychain or zipper.
The Loop AirTag Case gives you an easy (and colorful) way to attach an AirTag to your keys, bags or other essentials. It’s made of a durable knit fabric and features a matching integrated lanyard loop. It comes in four different finishes, each of which is exclusively available at Apple.
Scosche’s StrikeLine is a USB-C to USB-C cable that supports charging up to 60 watts and data transfer up to 480 Mbps. Normally a braided cable, this Apple-exclusive is a soft-touch cable that comes in two different, colorful, semi-transparent options: blue with green tips or green with pink tips.
PopSockets’ Low-Pro Grip is an ultra-thin take on the brand’s iconic phone accessory. Thanks to its PopStar expansion layer, it measures just 2.6mm thick when collapsed. However, it still touts helpful features like MagSafe compatibility, an adjustable swing-out stand and a magnet for mounting your phone. You can find it at the Apple store at launch.
Nimble’s Champ Stretch is a portable power bank with a 10,000mAh capacity and an integrated, retractable USB-C charging cable. It’s capable of delivering 30 watts of power, making it more than suitable for recharging an iPhone or iPad. Additionally, it has a built-in display to tell you how much charge it has left.
Belkin’s UltraCharge Pro is a 3-in-1 wireless charging dock for your iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch. It can charge all three devices simultaneously. It’s an Apple exclusive, and comes in a striking blue finish (as well as charcoal and sand).
