From pens to pans to pocket knives, Hong Kong-based Titaner’s thirst for reimagining everyday products is seemingly unquenchable.

When the brand isn’t revolutionizing a new category, its mad scientists/engineers are busy improving upon earlier game changers.

The new Verso comes to the table with an almost unbeatable combination of sleek form and smooth function.

Which brings us to their latest red-hot Kickstarter campaign, which makes the vessel for toting your cards not only more fidget-friendly but also extra handy.

Meet the tough, light, slim and hyper-functional Titaner Verso Modular Titanium MagSafe Wallet.

No ordinary wallet

As usual, the actual Kickstarter page is more like a thesis paper in length and complexity, but every detail points up just how much thought they put into their products.

Precision-machined from a solid piece of titanium, the Verso measures a sleek 2″ x 1.5″ x 0.39″ and weighs just 3.48 ounces, yet still manages to pack a stunning amount of functionality into what is first and foremost a wallet.

In terms of refinement, its corners are comfortably rounded, the back is micro-textured to improve grip and every edge is CNC-chamfered for frictionless performance.

Titaner Verso card deployment
Deploying cards looks like the coolest and most fidget-friendly experience you can have with a wallet.

That quality is most on display when it comes to card deployment, as a sliding motion smoothly fans out four cards that remain securely in place until you pluck one to use.

Meanwhile, a circle of 36 tiny magnets enables the wallet to snap seamlessly to the back of your phone, while the titanium material by its very nature offers RFID protection.

The Verso is engineered to stay sealed till you actively slide it open, and even then, the cards aren’t going anywhere till you pluck one.

Where the Verso really distinguishes itself, however, is with its non-card-holding half, which houses a delightful array of tiny tools.

(Should your focus be cards, there’s a less-expensive tool-free version that can accommodate up to six instead of four.)

Highlights include 1.5mm flathead and Phillips bits, flat-tip tweezers, a forever pen, multiple scalpel blades (mountable to an included handle) and a titanium toothpick, plus a tritium slot for adding an illuminating element.

Perhaps coolest of all is a tiny five-pointed star that offers multi-faceted flathead, Phillips and U-Groove screwdriver functionality.

There’s even a bit of storage space to customize with your own favorite mini-tools, including some Titaner sells as add-ons.

You could even use it to stash some (gasp!) cash.

Availability and pricing

The Titaner Verso Modular Titanium MagSafe Wallet is available now on Kickstarter at the Launch Day price of $248 for the card-only version and $298 for the standard version with multi-tools included. The estimated delivery for both units is December.
