New Balance’s ’70s-inspired 327 sneaker launched less than a decade ago, but it has already made a name for itself as a stylish everyday option, with an aesthetic sitting somewhere between heritage classics like the 574 and trendier silhouettes like the 9060.
(Its price point also hovers in that comfortable middle zone.)
Simultaneously recognizable and alternative, the 327 just scored a bold new look that gives it a new level of distinctive flair.
Releasing tomorrow, August 12th, the 327 “Cow Print” is dressed in two deliciously named variants of the classic animal print.
The first, Pumpernickel with Sea Salt, is a brown and white version with a cow print nylon upper paired with rich, chocolatey brown suede overlays.
Breakfast Tea with Pumpernickel and Sea Salt is the black and white alternative, with the same upper materials.
Both new versions of the 327 continue to feature its defining, oversized “N” logo, lugged outsole inspired by the 355 trail running shoe and rubber heel wrap inspired by the 320, 355 and Supercomp models.
