12 New Watches You Missed from Seiko, Timex, Omega and More

The Timex MK1 is modeled after the MIL-W-46374 issued to US servicemen after World War II. Now available in two sizes, both with stainless-steel cases, only the 40mm version boasts an automatic movement, proudly displayed with an exhibition caseback. The larger size also carries a two-layer strap fashioned from Cordura and leather.

Mido is a hidden gem in the loaded Swatch Group lineup. It offers luxury designs at approachable prices, like this steel integrated bracelet dive watch. As the name suggests, it has two crowns, with the upper crown operating the internal dive bezel. The 38-millimeter case holds a Mido automatic movement produced by fellow Swatch Group brand ETA. It comes with a gray dial or black dial, both on steel bracelets and with a blue dial on a blue rubber strap.

Casio honors the 30th anniversary of its outdoors-oriented Pro Trek line with this sustainability-oriented timepiece. With a body crafted from a bio-based resin, it boasts great 340 Series features, including Tough Solar tech for continuous power, water resistance up to 100 meters and Triple Sensor functionality — altimeter/barometer, digital compass and thermometer. Meanwhile, the rugged woven band is made of Castlon, a 100% plant-derived Nylon 11 fiber produced using castor oil plants. The carbon-neutral material is stronger and lighter than the traditional Nylon 6, with better wear resistance, chemical resistance and flexibility at low temperatures, too. 

Seiko’s GPS-linked, solar-powered, multiple-complication Astron chronograph now has a titanium case and integrated bracelet. The titanium bezel has a sapphire crystal insert that creates depth and shine. It comes in steel with a blue dial, all black with silver chronograph dials and brushed steel with a gray dial and black bezel.

A long-awaited follow-up to the M.A.D.1 (and its variant, the M.A.D.1s), the aptly named MB&F M.A.D.2 is a stylistic departure from its siblings but still plays on the same overall theme: high-end horology in a shockingly affordable package. While it boasts a much smoother, more reader-friendly appearance, it still features the same La Joux-Perret caliber G101 automatic movement as its most recent predecessor, albeit with MB&F-developed bi-directional jumping hours and trailing minutes module.

The Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Platinum Stone Blue (REF. PFC914-2020022-200182) may echo the vibe of timekeeping titans like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak but it’s semi-knurled round bezel keep it firmly distanced from homage-watch territory. The watch’s streamlined platinum case and bracelet make quite a statement, and so does its so-called “Stone Blue” sandblasted dial that teases texture and depth the longer you stare at it. Combined with the open-worked delta-shaped hands made of rhodium-plated 18ct gold and a lack of date window, it’s a tour-de-force for fans of minimalist dial design.

Unimatic and Massena LAB come together for a watch inspired by NASA’s upcoming mission to head back to the Moon. It is powered by a Seiko caliber NH34A automatic GMT movement and is a limited run of only 99 units.

Omega is celebrating 20 years of the Seamaster Planet Ocean by upgrading it with a Worldtimer complication. Utilizing the in-house caliber 8938 automatic movement, the dial depicts the world time function with an inner rotating dial aligned to an outside track of major world cities in each time zone. The center of the dial depicts a polar zenithal projection, which is a view of Earth from the North Pole. The huge 45.5-millimeter case, which measures 52.5 millimeters lug-to-lug, only weighs 148 grams because it is made of ceramic zirconium oxide. The black case comes with blue accents or light gray accents.

The original Timex Marlin reissue, the watch that sparked the brand’s return to glory, is back with a handsome new dial color and matching strap. Labeled as chocolate brown, it has a burgundy appearance in certain light. The dial layout remains unchanged, as does the 34mm case size and Seagull hand-wound movement. It will be available on March 13.

Peanuts turns 75 years old in 2025, and part of the celebration is one of the best watches in the cartoon’s long and fruitful collaboration with Timex. The 38m Q Timex GMT is one of the best-looking affordable GMT watches on the market, so its dial makes an ideal canvas for a drawing of Snoopy and Woodstock cruising in a little red sports car. It features an iconic “Pepsi” bezel, a Submariner-inspired handset and strong lume. The case back is decorated with an etching of the Peanuts crew and features an easy-access battery panel.

Peanuts and Orient are both celebrating their respective 75th anniversaries in 2025 with the most affordable automatic Snoopy watch ever. The Orient Bambino 7 comes in two different dial colors decorated with Orient’s 1950s script logo and a special Snoopy and Woodstock drawing as part of the “Water Resistant” marking. It is available in a white dial with a black leather strap or a cream dial with a khaki suede strap. It will be released on March 13, along with a Marko and a Semi-Skeleton featuring the same Snoopy and Woodstock drawing.

Created in collaboration with Hideo Kojima’s upcoming AAA video game, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, this watch is unlike any Hamilton Boulton tonneau ever released. It has seen a complete material and case redesign, swapping stainless steel for PVD titanium and exchanging the normal case for a seven-window caged version. It also has a caliber H-10 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve under its blacked-out dial, which can be viewed through the exhibition caseback.
