Few people have the space to fit a TV that’s over 100 inches. Even fewer are capable (or willing) to drop more than five figures on a TV. But those are the exact people Samsung is targeting with its latest TV.

Meet the Samsung Micro RGB TV. It’s a 115-inch TV that harnesses the brand’s proprietary Micro RGB Technology and costs a cool $30,000.

According to Samsung, it sets a “new standard” for the large-sized, ultra-premium TV market.

The room features neutral tones and natural light coming through a tall window with a view of green trees.

Breakthrough color

The Samsung Micro RGB TV is the first 115-inch TV to feature the brand’s proprietary Micro RGB technology. Essentially, it has a unique backlighting system — which utilizes red, green, and blue micro LED lights (each less than 100µm in size) — that allows it to deliver a brighter, more color-accurate picture than other TVs.

According to Samsung, “this breakthrough display delivers brilliant brightness and hyper-realistic hues, allowing you to indulge in color like never before.”

The TV is placed on a modern black and wooden stand with the Samsung logo illuminated on the front.

Anti-glare tech

The Micro RGB TV is powered by an advanced AI processor, which, according to Samsung, is able to analyze each frame in real time and then automatically optimize its color output so it’s more lifelike and immersive.

Additionally, Samsung claims that the Micro RGB TV’s display has been outfitted with its “most advanced” Glare Free technology, which promises to minimize reflections and deliver an excellent picture no matter the room’s lighting conditions.

As previously stated, this advanced technology comes at a cost — the 115-inch Samsung Micro RGB TV costs a cool $30,000. It’s a lot.

Samsung hasn’t specified an exact release date in the US — the current product page has a “Notify me” button for those who want to be the first to know — but it’s expected to be relatively soon.
