Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa has confirmed the TRX will be rejoining the Ram lineup for 2026. However, until that day comes, the RHO continues to soldier on as the brand’s lone Ford Raptor fighter.

Assuming you can’t wait for the arrival of Ram’s new V8 supertruck, Hennessey Performance thankfully has you covered in the meantime.

With the launch of the 2025 Mammoth 700, the tuning outfit has turned the Ram 1500 RHO into a 700-horsepower monster that’s ready to challenge Ford for the role of apex predator.

Unleashing the hurricane

From the factory, Ram’s 1500 RHO is no slouch — the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six Hurricane engine makes 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque.

Never content to settle, however, Hennessey has increased the boost pressure, upgraded the engine management software and added a trick stainless steel exhaust system.

As such, after thorough chassis calibration and testing on the dyno, the Mammoth 700 package takes the Ram RHO’s output to over 700 ponies. That’s on par with Ford’s 720-horsepower Raptor R.

To ensure each truck is up to snuff, Hennessey is prepared to conduct as many as 500 miles of road testing. However, keep in mind, the tuner is so confident in its efforts that each pickup comes backed by a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.

A truly mammoth overhaul

Beyond the engine and intake tweaks, Hennessey has given the Ram RHO a laundry list of upgrades in line with its Mammoth 700 moniker.

So, along with a 3-inch lift, a suspension leveling kit and a set of 6-piston performance brakes, the pickup now touts components such as a custom skid plate, more aggressive front and rear bumpers and powered fold-out steps.

With a light bar, round lights and corner LEDs, the front bumper adds an abundance of auxiliary lighting.

As befits a towering supertruck, Hennessey has also given the Mammoth 700 an abundance of auxiliary lighting. The front bumper alone comes mounted with a 32-inch LED light bar, a pair of 5-inch round lights and a set of corner-positioned LEDs.

Riding on a set of 20-inch Hennessey custom wheels wrapped in Raptor-matching 37-inch tires, the Mammoth 700 is made only better by features like its high-temp brake pads and high-performance rotors, among other upgrades.
