Cross-pollination. It may have gotten its start in the plant world, but it’s alive and well in the EDC knife space these days.
CJRB Cutlery’s versatile and affordable new folder, the Glacier, is the latest example.

Blending expertise from two different brands under the Artisan Cutlery umbrella, it boasts a range of EDC and culinary applications.
The fact that it’s also a great-looking, dare I say tactical, gentleman’s knife is just a bonus.
Multi-functional folder
The “two different brands” I am referencing above are CJRB, Artisan Cutlery’s more affordable sub-label, and Butterfork, their semi-secret kitchen cutlery spinoff.
By its folding nature, the knife leans more toward EDC, which is why you find this one with the CJRB label. Butterfork generally sticks to fine fixed blades of the Chef’s, Bread and Nakiri varieties.
