I have been working out at gyms in some form or another since I was about 13 years old. That means I’ve spent a solid 25 years trying to find what works best for me, including testing dozens of sneakers that range from running sneakers to dedicated weightlifting shoes.
As a multi-discipline fitness enthusiast who gets bored doing just one style of exercise for too long, I’ve come to accept that, as far as footwear is concerned, versatility is my top priority.
To date, the best all-around fitness shoe I’ve ever had the pleasure of using is the Reebok Nano X5. I wear them for nearly every workout I do.
As such, I am very excited about the launch of the Reebok Nano X5 Edge, which builds upon everything that makes the line great and improves upon it in several crucial ways.

Working on your fitness
As you might’ve surmised from its name, the Nano X5 Edge is built on the existing Nano X5 platform. That’s a perfect place to start, obviously, but there are some critical upgrades.
For starters, the upper has been retooled. This new take gets an upgraded Flexweave upper that improves the shoe’s overall fit, feel and breathability. Not only is it strong and durable, but now it’s more comfortable during more challenging, longer workouts.
