Fast, affordable and sleek, the Adizero Evo SL isn’t just Adidas’s top everyday running shoe. It might be the single best value on store shelves.

Unsurprisingly, Adidas is already at work on the shoe’s successor, debuting two new variants in the past month alone.

But it’s not quite ready to turn its back on the original. That’s quite alright from this vantage point.

Already one of the best-looking shoes on the market, the Adizero Evo SL embraces its sleek side with a triple-black colorway that’s more streetwear than performance trainer.

That said, the new colorways still promises to be plenty capable on the roads and track, especially with its state-of-the-art midsole.

The Adizero Evo SL famously features Lightstrike Pro, the same foam compound found in some of Adidas’s premier super shoes, albeit at a fraction of the cost.
