Maurice Lacroix teams up for the third time with Swiss watch modifier Label Noir for this ultra-cool take on the Aikon Skeleton featuring a black DLC steel case, a smoked sapphire dial and turquoise accents on the hands. Two integrated straps, one turquoise rubber and one black suede, bring it all together. Just 100 examples will be made.

Italian boutique watchmaker Venezianico cut an absolutely stunning dial from artificial opal for this impressively capable dive watch. The 42mm steel case is topped with a tungsten bezel insert and comes on a five-link steel bracelet. It is powered by a Sellita caliber SW200-1 automatic movement customized with a signed, rhodium-plated rotor. The watch is a limited edition of 500 pieces, and pre-orders open on December 24.

This Japanese microbrand’s refined take on an Explorer-style field watch boasts a 38mm steel case, 100m of water resistance, a Japan-made Miyota automatic movement and a multi-textured dial.

Swedish boutique watchmaker Anders & Co. offers a classic stone dial dress watch in five variations at a price most watch enthusiasts can afford. The 37mm tonneau dial is remarkably sleek, measuring just 5.6mm in height, thanks to a Miyota caliber 9T22 quartz movement. The sans-seconds dial is available in turquoise, charoite, rubellite, aventurine glass and red agate, with each coming on a black embossed alligator leather pin-buckle strap.

This watch is the direct descendent of the timepieces Timex put through the ringer in the 1960s through a series of live-aired “torture tests.” Yet, despite its pedigree and history, its a relatively humble, understated watch, boasting a simple-yet-accurate quartz movement, a 12- and 24-hour dial (with an Indiglo backlight, rare for an analog watch) with a date window and a handsome leather strap.

Zenith teams up with Topper Jewelers for this knockout version of its ultra-modern dive watch inspired by bioluminescent marine life. A new blue ceramic bezel is paired with a custom blue wave-textured dial dotted with subtle specs of Super-LumiNova that glow in low light.

Autrodromo’s homage to the 1980s glory days of rally car design is blacked out with a DLC coating on the steel and titanium case and steel integrated flat-link bracelet. The fourth and final iteration of the ultra-minimalist Alterum Worldtimer, which won the inaugural Dubai Watch Week × Grail Watch competition in 2024, has a dial that is essentially a photo negative of the original. As before, the heart of the appeal is the eschewing of conventional hands in favor of four concentric discs that indicate minutes, hours, 24-hour time and 24 major cities spanning the globe. What stands out with this edition is the depth of field achieved by placing the markings on the underside of the flat sapphire crystal, an effect emphasized by the shadows cast on the white dial.

Breitling teams up with Rolex-owned retailer Bucherer for this special edition of the former’s flagship dive watch, the Superocean Heritage, that finally brings the classic dive watch combination of blue and black to the line. The 42mm stainless steel diver features a blue sunburst dial to go along with its black ceramic bezel, adding up to one of the most attractive versions yet of Breitling’s recently refreshed diver. Powering the watch, and visible behind a sapphire caseback, is the Breitling B31 calibre, the brand’s first manufacture time-and-date automatic movement. Paired with a fitted black mesh rubber strap, the watch is available exclusively at select Bucherer locations, including its online boutiques.

This limited edition of the Seiko 5 Sports SKX takes inspiration from winter sports equipment and is available in either purple or brown, both of which feature a grid-patterned dial and a two-tone bezel (with white being the other color) with a Hardlex crystal insert in place of the usual aluminum.

The Porsche Design Chronograph 1 is one of the most iconic chronos of all time. However, this one is even more special, as it is designed to pay homage to the personal timepiece of F.A. Porsche — legendary designer of the 911. To that end, it has a special Super-LumiNova treatment — meant to mimic the look of worn tritium or radium — alongside a movement rotor (visible through the caseback) made to mimic the wheels of an accompanying special-edition sports car. Yet, it retains its signature looks and other spectacular details.

During First World War, the company that would later become Timex supplied simple field watches for the US military. Now that watch is getting a new lease on life in the form of the quartz-powered, Japan-exclusive TA-25-A, which arrives with a modern 38mm case, available in two variants: shiny or brushed stainless steel. The spade hands of the original were also replaced with new ones inspired by the cockpit instruments found in US military aircrafts.

Part of G-Shock’s latest Charles Darwin Foundation collaboration, the GA-B2100DF-1A is inspired by the Galápagos Albatross. Its bird-shaped indicator hand, yellow-accented hands and hour markers (matching the albatross’s beak) and map of the Galápagos Islands spreading across the dial all point up this association, as does the sustainable bio-based resin making up most of the materials. Performance-wise, the watch boasts a bunch of world time, stopwatch and timer functions, double LEDs, long Tough Solar battery life, 200m of water resistance and Bluetooth pairing that unlocks even more handy features.

TAG Heuer achieved perfection by applying details from two highly coveted vintage models to its much-loved new Carrera Glassbox design. The panda dial with blue hands comes from the 1969 Autavia 1163T “Jo Siffert,” named after the brand’s first-ever brand ambassador. The Côtes de Genève dial texture is inspired by the Carrera “Success Watch,” which was gifted to F1 winners in the 1970s. It is a limited edition of 75 pieces.

Armin Strom adds a classic touch to its futuristic Gravity Equal Force with this salmon edition. Like previous iterations of the GEF, the watch is powered by Armin Strom’s in-house, hand-finished Calibre ASB19 movement, which combines a micro-rotor with a stop-work declutch mechanism inside the mainspring barrel that delivers constant force across the entire three-day power reserve — resulting in equal performance regardless of how much power is left in the mainspring. For this limited stainless steel version, the watch’s guillochéd mainplate dial gets a handsome, vintage-inspired makeover with a salmon PVD treatment. Production is limited to just 25 pieces per year.
