About five years ago, Timex expanded its long-running Expedition lineup to fill a gap between the entry-level Scout and the newly introduced North Field Post on the premium side.
The model was called the Expedition Sierra, and not only was it a solid mid-tier field watch but it was the watchmaker’s affordable response to the legendary Hamilton Khaki Field (it’s about a third the price of even the quartz version of the Hamilton timepiece).

Now, Timex takes the Sierra’s military pretense to new heights with camo-dialed options that surprisingly don’t eschew the model’s versatility.

Playing the field
Landing in green and tan, the new Sierra colorways feature subtle monochromatic images of forest scenery in the backdrop. Fortunately, Timex doesn’t go with traditional camo here, still making these solid GADA watches if you’d like them to be.
