Onkyo started the year off with a bang. At CES 2026, the Japanese hi-fi manufacturer introduced a new Muse line of streaming amplifiers and special-edition desktop speakers, as well as revealed that it partnered with Klipsch on its latest active speaker systems.
Lost in the hoopla, Onkyo also revealed a limited-edition version of its newest amplifiers, which borrow design cues from one of the brand’s most iconic amplifiers from the early 1990s.

As part of the brand’s 80th anniversary celebrations, Onkyo has announced limited-edition versions of its Muse amplifiers, both the Y-50 and Y-40, with a vintage aesthetic inspired by the iconic Onkyo M-588, a high-end stereo power amplifier in Onkyo’s classic Integra series.
