When the Nike Air Max 95 debuted in 1995, it changed the sneaker landscape. Three decades later, Nike revived the iconic “Neon” colorway for its 30th anniversary — and the response was just as electric.

The limited release sold out fast, fueling months of anticipation about a possible return. Now, the Neon is back. The Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” drops tomorrow, March 5th.

Light it up

Designed by Sergio Lozano, the original Air Max 95 is widely regarded as one of the most influential Nike shoes ever released.

Iterations throughout its 30-plus year existence continue to garner attention in the sneaker world and far beyond.

The Air Max 95 “Neon” has always been a standout, even within the shoe’s own historical lineup, thanks to its revolutionary use of high-visibility color, which went on to become a Nike brand staple.

The 2025 re-issue was especially lauded, thanks in part to a “Big Bubble” heel Air unit that is larger and more pronounced than previous retro versions, matching the groundbreaking 1995 release.

Now, it’s been officially revealed that the 2025 version will make its long-awaited return tomorrow, March 5th, at 7am PST.

The shoe will retain its visible Max Air cushioning, synthetic leather and textile upper, flex grooves in the midsole/outsole and the Black/Cool Grey/Neon Yellow colorway.

Unlike last year’s adult’s only drop, the restock of the “Neon” will be available in a full size run including adult sizes as well as Grade School, preschool and toddler options.

Availability and pricing

The Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” will be available starting tomorrow, retailing for $190 in men’s, women’s and youth styles.
