Shelby and Ford go together like bread and butter, which is why its latest reveal feels like a natural coming. The famed Mustang tuner just worked its magic and revealed its first most off-road-ready truck ever, the 2026 Shelby Ford F-250 Super Baja.

And yes, it’s as bonkers as it sounds. While Shelby has a long history of fancifying Mustangs, it’s also done up F-150s and F-250s in the past.

However, they’ve all been lowered and modified into tire-shredding street trucks. With the F-250 Super Baja, things are very different.

Who needs a F-250 Raptor

The F-250 Super Baja marks a significant occasion for the brand as it is the first-ever off-road-ready Shelby truck. As the pictures and badge indicate, it starts life as a heavy-duty variant of the F-150 in Lariat Ultimate 4×4 trim, complete with a SuperCrew cab and Dearborn’s signature 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8.

Then, the Shelby pros go to work, fitting a whole bunch of performance upgrades, all to boost the F-250’s off-road capabilities. And it’s all in the spirit of the world’s most famous off-road race.

Modifications include a hefty 2.5-inch lift kit, compliments of KING Race Series 2.5 Adjustable Coilovers at the front with 2.5 Piggyback shocks at the rear. The setup also features KING Dual steering stabilizers and upgraded two-inch tubular radius arms, all geared for high-speed off-roading.

Engineers also upgraded the truck’s four-wheel-drive system to handle the suspension upgrades.

Looks to match

Shelby American does up the exterior with custom 20-inch two-tone off-road-inspired wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 Mud Terrain tires, some custom power retractable running boards with underbody lighting and skid plate protection.

At the front, Shelby replaces the factory bumper with a more aggressive one designed by Addictive Desert Designs. The new unit increases the approach angle.

It also adds in high-flow air vents for improved cooling for the engine and brakes. The upgraded front bumper also features an integrated 40-inch LED light bar.

The rear bumper gets a slight rework. It features new LED reverse and marker lights, while a custom-painted hood with a Shelby air scoop, along with matching painted fenders, complete the look.

And while there aren’t any pictures available, the treatment carries over to the interior with carbon fiber trim bits, billet racing pedals, bespoke leather trim, numbered production plaques and Shelby Super Baja-branded accessories.

Availability and pricing

Interested? Shelby American says production is underway, but only 250 will roll out of its facility. And you’ll have to set aside $159,795, which includes the F-250 SuperCrew’s original $97,000 price tag.
