Thanks to more than 50 years of history, Patagonia has the luxury of a deep heritage-fueled archive; the brand is essentially sitting on a treasure trove of cool, vintage designs.

When those retro logos, colors and graphics are applied to modern gear, they hit the sweet spot of fun design and functional materials.

This is exactly the case with Patagonia’s Black Hole 61 Liter Tote, which just received its own archival remix.

Old school looks, new school functionality

The Black Hole Gear Tote 61L is one of the most useful bags in the popular Black Hole lineup, thanks to its blend of rugged materials, no-nonsense design and thoughtful details.

Built with weather- and abrasion-resistant, 100 percent recycled polyester ripstop with a recycled TPU-film laminate, the tote is designed to be semi-rigid, so it retains a boxy structure while in use.

The wide-mouth opening is complemented by an exterior zippered side pocket, which keeps small essentials organized. External, reinforced daisy chain attachment points offer more carrying options.
