KLH is one of the oldest and most storied American hi-fi companies, with a history dating back to 1957. That said, the company has undergone many changes over the last several decades, changing owners several times and even ceasing manufacturing for a time.
However, since relaunching in 2018, the company has introduced three modern loudspeakers that draw on visual cues from its classic designs from the ’60s and ’70s. From smallest to largest, there’s the Model Three (bookshelf), the Model Five (compact floorstanding) and Model Seven (flagship floorstanding).
(Note: All three of the company’s loudspeakers are currently on sale.)
Now, the Denver-based audio maker is adding a fourth pair of loudspeakers to its lineup, designed for homes where “space is precious.”

A Goldilocks loudspeaker?
The Model Four is a compact floorstanding loudspeaker that, as you might’ve surmised, is designed to fill the gap between KLH’s Model Three bookshelf speakers and Model Five floorstanders.
According to the brand, it unites “the small footprint of Model Three with the sonic architecture of Model Five in a cabinet built for homes where space is precious, design is paramount and fidelity is demanded.”
