KLH is an iconic American hi-fi brand. Founded in 1957, which makes it one of the oldest American audio companies, the now-Denver-based manufacturer specializes in premium loudspeakers with acoustic-suspension designs.

The company has undergone numerous changes over the decades, admittedly, switching owners several times and even stopping manufacturing for some time. But the company relaunched in 2018 and now makes modern loudspeakers that draw on visual cues from its classic designs from the ’60s and ’70s.

As of today, KLH makes three different loudspeakers: the Model Three bookshelf speakers, as well as the Model Five and Model Seven floorstanding speakers. And right now, all three models are on sale.

The deals run through April 18th.

The Model Three is the smallest and most affordable of KLH’s offerings. It’s a compact bookshelf speaker with a two-way design, comprised of a  1-inch aluminum tweeter and an 8-inch woofer. And thanks to its acoustic suspension (sealed) cabinet, it can be placed closer to the walls.

The Model Three is designed for audiophiles who don’t need the extra bass output of Model Five or Model Seven. According to the brand, it’s a “perfect match for those who want a ‘big speaker’ heart from a bookshelf size.”

The Model Three comes in three premium wood finishes: English Walnut, West African Mahogany, and Nordic Noir. A pair normally costs close to $2,000, but you can save $400 right now.

The Model Five is the smaller of the two floorstanding loudspeakers. It has a three-way design with an acoustic suspension cabinet. It features a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter, a 4-inch midrange driver and a 10-inch woofer.

Just like its other offerings, the Model Five features real wood veneers and cast aluminum baskets.

KLH describes the Model Three as the “sweet spot” of its speaker lineup. It’s designed for those looking for a compact floorstanding speaker that can deliver significantly more bass than the smaller ones Model Three, but isn’t nearly as big (or as expensive) as the Model Seven.

The Model Five is available in the same three premium wood finishes as the Model Three: English Walnut, West African Mahogany, and Nordic Noir.

Normally $3,298, you can save $300 on a pair of these speakers now.

KLH Model Seven

The Model Seven is the company’s flagship model. The floorstanding speakers have a similar three-way, acoustic suspension design as the Model Fives, but the speakers are significantly bigger and taller, and deliver a bigger sound with deeper bass.

They feature the same 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter as the rest of the lineup, but pack a larger 5-inch midrange driver and a larger 13-inch woofer.

According to the brand, the Model Seven “offers remarkable low-frequency extension and effortless dynamics while remaining more forgiving of room placement than many traditional loudspeakers.”

Unlike the other speakers, KLH offers the Model Seven in only two finishes: English Walnut or West African Mahogany. There’s no Nordic Noir option.

Normally close to $6,000 for a pair, KLH is discounting its largest speakers by a grand right now.
