The Pure Hot+Cool Link brings all of Dyson’s strengths together into the brand’s first home product to include a fan, a heater and an air purifier — it’s the kind of thing The Guardian calls Dyson’s first “Internet of Things” product. The Pure Hot+Cool Link removes “99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns,” Dyson claims, and pushes this cool or hot air back into the room. It can also be hooked up to wi-fi, allowing users to both control the Pure Hot+Cool Link and read the air quality of their home from their smartphone.
The main pitfall is the price. It’s expensive. Like $600 expensive. But it’s not totally off the charts; choosing to buy three single-task home products isn’t very cheap, either.
