Audioengine makes some of our favorite powered desktop speaker systems. And it makes a lot of them, varying in size, price and design,

In the last year, the Texas-based hi-fi maker has introduced several “Next Gen” versions of its desktop speaker systems, including the A2+, HD3 and HD4 (in order from smallest to largest). They’ve been upgraded with USB-C connectivity, a 24-bit DAC and superior Bluetooth streaming.

Now, for a limited time, Audioengine is having a spring sale on all these “Next Gen” desktop speaker systems. You can get them up to 30 percent off, which is the cheapest they’ve ever been.

Like the rest of its “Next Gen” desktop speakers, the A2+ Next Gen features an improved 24-bit DAC, USB-C connectivity and improved Bluetooth streaming.

Wait, what’s the catch?

The reason why these speakers are so discounted is that they’re open-box products, meaning that they’re review units that have been returned (by tech reviewers, influencers or some customers).

But the company says that each of these open-box systems has been “triple-inspected by our expert audio technicians to ensure it satisfies our like-new quality benchmarks.”

Note: In addition to its newest desktop speaker systems, Audioengine’s spring sale on refurbished products is pretty extensive. You can snag deals on its larger powered and passive speaker systems, as well as its desktop amps and DACs. You can check out all the deals here.
