Avid is a British hi-fi manufacturer that specializes in high-end audio gear — such as turntables, tonearms, cartridges, amplifiers and loudspeakers — designed for discerning audiophiles with some seriously deep pockets.
Earlier this summer, as part of the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations, Avid announced the Relveo, its first “new” turntable in 12 years. It costs over ten thousand dollars and, according to the brand, is “a masterpiece of form and function.”
Now, Avid is continuing those anniversary celebrations by introducing a new high-end pair of floorstanding loudspeakers.
Avid Evo Two Loudspeakers

New Evo flagships
Avid’s Evo Two are the new flagship loudspeakers in the company’s acclaimed Evo Series — they are essentially the next step up from its Evo Three floorstanding loudspeakers, which cost roughly $18,000.
Compared to its smaller siblings in the brand’s Evo Series, including the Evo Three (floorstanding) and Evo Four (bookshelf), the Evo Two loudspeakers feature an improved cabinet design and revised driver arrangement, which, according to the brand, promises to “further enhance low-frequency performance and soundstage depth.”
