It’s almost 2026, and wireless home theater systems aren’t exactly novel.

Nearly every TV manufacturer and hi-fi company offers at least one wireless soundbar that, when configured with wireless speakers and subwoofers, can be expanded into a wireless surround sound system. Sonos, Bose, Sony, Samsung and LG are just a few big names that spring to mind.

But LG’s newest offering, which is a collaboration with Dolby, is poised to be more versatile and scalable than nearly any previous wireless home theater system to date.

Scalable. Speaker. System

The LG Sound Suite is a modular speaker system featuring the H7 soundbar, the M7 and M5 wireless surround speakers, and the W7 wireless subwoofer. You’ll be able to purchase each component individually.

The neat thing is that these wireless components can be configured in 27 different combinations, giving consumers the flexibility to create the perfect home theater setup for their space and budget.

You can start with just a pair of wireless speakers — no soundbar required — and build out the system over time. The max configuration is a full 13.1.7-channel home theater.

A world’s first for a soundbar

The real magic of the system is that it’s built around Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, which is Dolby’s room-optimizing technology that ensures the system sounds best — no matter where the individual speakers are placed. Basically, you don’t have to rearrange furniture or the entire room to get a great-sounding home theater.

For this system to work, you need FlexConnect-compatible speakers paired with a FlexConnect-compatible TV. And, because Dolby just debuted Dolby Atmos FlexConnect last year, your options have been quite limited — just to the latest TVs and speakers by TCL and LG.

However, with Sound Suite, LG is introducing the H7 soundbar, which is the world’s first soundbar to support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. This means that, for the first time, you can create a Dolby Atmos FlexConnect home theater system with any TV … just connect the H7 soundbar via HDMI.

Price and availability

The LG Sound Suite was revealed ahead of CES 2026 and, unfortunately, a lot of the details — including specs for each individual component — have not yet been disclosed.

Pricing and availability information aren’t available, either.
