Just last month, Monitor Audio introduced a new option for its flagship Hyphn floorstanding loudspeakers, which sell for $99,000/pair. Since their release in 2023, they have come in three standard finishes. But now, customers can customize them in more than 200 colors … for an additional price. These Hyphn (Custom Editions) cost $109,000/pair.
If that’s out of your price range (which it most certainly is), Monitor Audio has numerous more affordable loudspeaker ranges. Its most entry-level loudspeaker range is the Bronze Series, which it just updated last year. The 2025-released Bronze Series 7G consists of five loudspeaker models that can be set up in either stereo or home theater configurations. The range starts at $700.
Now, the British hi-fi manufacturer is introducing the next generation of its Silver Series range of loudspeakers, which sits just above the Bronze Series. According to the brand, the all-new Silver Series 8G was created with “one clear objective: to set a new benchmark for high-fidelity performance at its price point.”

A 7-loudspeaker lineup
Monitor Audio’s all-new Silver Series 8G consists of seven different loudspeaker models: two bookshelf, two floorstanding, one center channel and one on-wall. The company claims that “the range is as potent as it is flexible, engineered to perform beautifully in any system configuration, and any space.”
Naturally, Monitor Audio has introduced a number of key acoustic improvements over the Silver Series 7G, which was released in 2021.
