Tiny Vinyl is the fast-growing company that makes four-inch vinyl records, approximately one-third the size of standard 12-inch vinyl records. Each record can play two tracks (one per side) and can be played on any full-sized turntable.

And while it sounds a little gimmicky, these pocket-sized records have taken the vinyl world by storm. They are officially licensed by many of today’s biggest artists, each of whom selects the two tracks that go on the record, and thus have become highly collectible.

Now, doubling down on its success, Tiny Vinyl has introduced its first record player that is specifically designed to play its miniature records. And naturally, it lives up to the tiny name.

A tiny, vinyl player

The Tiny Vinyl Player is a shoebox-sized all-in-one record player that is specially designed to play the company’s 4-inch vinyl records. It’s obviously aimed at those who own a lot of Tiny Vinyl records, as it can only play them and not any full-sized records. It’s too small.

Again, Tiny Vinyl’s records are compatible with any traditional turntable that supports 33 RPM speeds. So, most turntables. This means that the Tiny Vinyl Player is hardly a necessity, but another collectible.

The Tiny Vinyl Player is comprised of everything you need to play Tiny Records. It requires a constant powered connection and features a built-in speaker.

Naturally, the size and price of the built-in speaker mean that it probably won’t sound super elite. However, the system supports Bluetooth, so you can stream vinyl records to larger speakers or wireless headphones.

There are wired connections in the back of the Player, so it can be integrated into a larger system, as well.

Build out the system

Integrated into the platter is a storage slot that can hold up to five Tiny Vinyl records.

For those with more miniature records, the company has also introduced the Crate, a vinyl storage solution with the same footprint as the record player that’s designed to rest underneath. It gives super fans a way of building out their Tiny Vinyl system.

Additionally, the company has introduced a third accessory, the Frame. It’s a picture frame meant to hang on your wall and show off Tiny Vinyl records. Each Frame can hold four Tiny Vinyl albums.

“Our fans asked for tiny accessories and we listened. We are excited to offer a custom player, crate, and frame for our fans to enjoy,” says Tiny Vinyl’s co-founder Neil Kohler.

“These new products give music fans and collectors everything they need to build out their own little Tiny Vinyl universe, a setup as fun and personal as the music they love,” adds co-founder Jesse Mann.
