Scouring internet listings while waging multiple bidding wars to build your dream garage is a fun, but time-consuming exercise. Plus, your lunch hour could be better spent actually enjoying your lunch rather than sifting through countless listings of classics you could never afford to find the ones that are actually obtainable. So we went ahead and did all the legwork and gathered a few of our favorite vintage cars up for grabs on the web, all for under a respectable $15,000.
1976 BMW 2002
The Quadragenarian: “If you know these cars you realize that they are increasing in value daily. This particular 2002 has been restored and is ready for the road upon purchase. The exterior is stunning and the interior is showing signs of very minimal wear. This is currently an affordable classic that will continue to rise in value.” — Hemmings
What we like: The utter simplicity of the 2002 was always its most charming feature — and, you can’t go wrong with basket-weave alloy wheels.

1964 International Scout 80
The Blue Bruiser: “This 1964 International Scout 80 is a restored example of the first-generation Scout. Paint and chrome appear to be in great condition, and the medium-blue color with contrasting white half-cab roof and bumpers makes for an attractive look.” — Bring a Trailer
What we like: With the carpet-less interior and twin-stick set upon the transfer, this Scout is begging to be driven and not locked away in a garage. That bright-blue paint would look so much better with a light speckling of mud rather than a thin coat of dust.

1991 BMW M5
A Tired Sleeper: “This 1991 BMW M5 is a first-year North American market E34 M5 with 146k miles. This example has a stock drivetrain and features a small selection of modifications and updates, including Throwing Star wheels, Dinan springs with Bilstein Sport shocks, updated steering wheel from an E36 M3, and Alcantara headliner and pillars.” — Bring a Trailer
What we like: The early M5s were drivers’ cars, through and through. This particular example carries its high mileage well so hopefully the new owner adds a few more spirited miles to the odometer.

1972 Chevrolet Corvette LS5
Signature ’70s: “Matching numbers 1972 C3 Corvette in War Bonnet Yellow. Sporting a big-block 454 (LT5) with 270 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, and a manual Muncie M21 ‘Rock Crusher’ transmission, this muscle car is an exceptional performer and a true classic.” — Prestige of Orange County
What we like: You probably can’t find a car that embodies the 70s more than a gold Corvette Stingray with pop-up headlights and a 454 V8 — but it’d be a lot cooler if you did.

1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce
Black-and-Beige Beauty: “Originally delivered to Hawaii before coming to the mainland US, where it was mostly serviced by the Ferrari dealer with good records. Runs and drives well, interior and soft top are particularly nice. New tires. All books, tools, jack, window sticker and factory keys included.” — Hemmings
What we like: Red may be the default color for Italian cars, but damn it if they don’t look stunning in gloss black with tan leather interior.
