Even though Jeep has confirmed there will definitely be a Jeep Wrangler Pickup, and spy shots of the actual test vehicle have surfaced, we still have to wait until 2018–2019 before one actually hits the road. But if you can’t wait that long, this mint-condition 1984 BJ45 Diesel should hold you over.
A remarkably low amount of miles have been put on this old pickup, and based solely on the wear and tear of the paint, interior and factory-installed wooden bed fencing, those 30,998 miles have been kind. Originally owned and maintained by the Marinha Fire Brigade of Praia da Marinha, Portugal, it was later sold to the chef at the famous restaurant Rei de Leitoes in Mealhada, Portugal. Since then this BJ45 pickup has made its way stateside, where it now lives.
Even if you wanted to get this lightly used workhorse just to drive occasionally, know that it still has a lifetime of mileage to go before it’ll start to show its age.
