We can all agree that the Maserati GranTurismo is one gorgeous automobile. Then there’s its angry brother, the MC Stradale (strah-dahl-ee) with 444 horsepower and a beefed up suspension and chassis. Well, Novitec, the tuner that regularly modifies already blazingly quick Ferraris and Alfa Romeos, has churned out the Novitec Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale through their Novitec Tridente division (as in the trident Maserati logo). The result is an astronomical 202 horsepower increase to a balls-to-the-wall 646, which equates to a 0-60 sprint in well under four seconds and a top speed of 190 mph. Other goodies, other than the eye-baking yellow paint job? How’s an upgraded interior package that’s priced at $32,000 (to start) in any color combination of leather and alcantara suede you can think of, 22 inch alloy wheels coated in Pirelli P Zero rubber, black coated tailpipes, massive hood scoop and rear diffuser and new engine management software that maximizes the wicked power output. Finally, the ride height is dropped 25mm for better handling and a more aggressive look. Sure, you can bring this Novitec version of the beautiful Maser to your finest restaurant. Just don’t put it in the hands of the valet with the lead foot. It might cost you not only the price of dinner but probably a new set of tires, as well.
