This is the Sexy New Bentley Continental Convertible

The updated convertible is essentially “20 percent lighter and five percent stiffer.”

Now in its third generation, the Bentley Continental GT has entered the modern era, with looks and tech to match. Close on the heels of the coupe’s release, the convertible has now bowed. The topless cruiser will hit 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and will reach a top speed of 207 mph. But the really impressive stuff is less face-melting. The updated convertible is essentially “20 percent lighter and five percent stiffer.”

The “Z-fold” roof compresses down in a smooth 19 seconds, and is available in seven different fabrics and colors, including a new tweed-style material. Thanks to its updated design, the top offers a “three-decibel noise reduction,” which adds to the overall quiet: this new convertible is “as quiet as the previous generation coupe.”

Read our review of the coupe here. As you’d expect, it’s every bit as sumptuous and elegant as a modern GT can bee.
