Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe

More good stuff from the three-pointed star

We think the latest cars from Mercedes have been well-designed, bordering on beautiful (the CLS, especially). This statement can easily be made for the soon-to-be-revealed Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe, or CSC, which will bow at the end of the month in Beijing. The rakish and sleek “four door coupe” that follows in the CLS’s footsteps is based on the new A-Class and the CSC carries over the aggressive grille and front fascia and also adds headlights that look like high-tech pulled taffy. It’s a tad longer than the existing C-Class and will utilize a 208 hp 2.0 liter turbo four with direct inject, mated to a dual clutch tranny setup. Merc is saying that this fresh concept is a near-production version, which has us pretty excited. Let’s just hope it drives as good as it looks.
