Luxury Art Deco trailer manufacturer Bowlus Road Chief has announced its newest aluminum camping trailer: the Wave Bespoke Edition. AS you might expect of something called a “bespoke edition,” it’s fairly nice.
The Wave is a nautical-inspired version of the company’s top-of-the-line Endless Highways camping trailer. Bowlus Road Chief says it will be produced in an “extremely limited” run.
The Wave uses special Marina Del Rey blue seating fabric inspired by the California coast, with contrasting “main sail white” trim. The fabric is an organic, vegan material designed to resemble suede. The Wave also upgrades Bowlus Road Chief‘s characteristic birch flooring to yacht-quality walnut and holly, paired with walnut tables.
Other touches include cozy headboards (a first for a Bowlus Road Chief trailer), meteorological instruments reminiscent of a ship’s bridge and less -traditionally-nautical mounts for tablet streaming in the living area and bedroom. Black wheels are intended to provide the illusion the trailer is floating above the road.
The Wave includes the standard Endless Highways power setup, with lithium-ion batteries and a stowable solar panel that can provide power for up to a week spent off the grid — or a blissful four-hour blast from a 10,000-BTU air conditioner.
The Wave Bespoke Edition trailer, not surprisingly, won’t come cheap. This edition costs $225,000 — a $40,000 premium over the standard Endless Highways model. Bowlus Road Chief can also collaborate with customers on a custom build (which is presumably even more costly).
