You can just about stop coveting the pricey Mercedes-Benz CLS and start picking the color of your 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA Class sedan. Based on the edgy A-Class hatchback, the CLA sedan is an entry-level Merc that looks far more expensive than it is. Boasting an incredible 0.22 drag coefficient, it’s the most aerodynamic production car in the world. Not bad for a budget-minded Teuton. Plus, it might just qualify as one of MB’s best looking cars, as we’ve seen it in the flesh during an exclusive look before its release at the Berlin Motor Show.
The CLA250 will be sold with a front-wheel-drive 1.8-liter turbo four-cylinder with 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. 4Matic all-wheel-drive will also be an option. We’ll hold our breath for the AMG performance version, as it’s likely to come as well. When it goes on sale in the fall of 2013, expect worth-every-penny pricing to be around $30K.
