If you’re looking to build the ultimate Jeep Wrangler-based overlanding rig, American Expedition Vehicles just made it a little bit easier. The iconic outfitter just officially revealed a new “AEV Venture Package” specifically for its Wrangler builds.

Originally revealed at the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion event in Florida a few months ago, the new AEV Venture Package adds a bunch of bespoke visual upgrades. But it doesn’t just stop there as there are also some neat, functional additions as well.

Making your Wrangler more adventure-ready

When it comes to building overlanding and solid off-road rigs, few outfitters come to mind as quickly as American Expedition Vehicles, or AEV. Known for taking some of the industry’s toughest and most capable trucks and cranking them up a few notches, AEV is a byword for noteworthy vehicle enhancements in the scene.

The latest “Venture Package” adds a bucket list of extras to AEV’s top-spec Wrangler JL370 build. In addition to a long list of suspension and accessory upgrades, the Venture Package adds a series of bespoke appearance tweaks.

Such includes unique “AEV Venture” panels, a blackout treatment for the B-pillar, Venture badges all around, and a body color-matching hardtop with an equal color matching job for the interior.

The exterior also benefits from a revised EX front bumper, a standard snorkel, and the choice of either body color-matching wheels or Borah replacements.

But the most notable addition of the AEV Venture Package is the inclusion of iconic MOLLE panels. AEV swaps out the standard glass on the Wrangler’s removable hardtop and adds the special mounting panels, which enable owners to add more storage for extra gear.

MOLLE panels are best known for their configurable storage systems. They essentially are metal sheets that feature infinitely customizable mounting options for extra storage.

In the case of the ones in the AEV Venture Package, the included MOLLE panels allow for hauling an additional 22 pounds of stuff per panel. They also feature lockable covers for extra security.

The panels are similar to the ones offered on the new Defender from Land Rover. They’re perfect for packing extra tools and keeping smaller items more securely.

The cost for the AEV Venture Package? A cool $4,982, which is a small ask, when considering that you need to pony up $18,324 JL370 build in order to qualify for the Venture Package.
