L.L.Bean Boots and Apparel
Save 25%: Heritage New England outdoor brand L.L.Bean has been in business for over 100 years. Its first-ever product? The sort-of ugly, undeniably-iconic Bean Boot. Leon Leonwood Bean (yeah, that’s what the L.L. stands for) designed them as a solution to prevent wet feet while hunting in Maine’s damp conditions. The design of the boot hasn’t changed much since: it features a stout rubber bottom and a hardy leather upper, which makes them ideal for winter’s inclement conditions. The boots have spread beyond hunting though, and now come in different heights with various linings for different temperatures and uses. Right now, there’s an extensive collection of Bean Boot models (as well as apparel) up for sale on L.L.Bean’s website — just use the code WINTER at checkout. — Tanner Bowden

Vitamix 7500 Blender
Save $124: Equipped with a 2.2 HP motor, the Vitamix 7500 is the brand’s most powerful household blender. It weighs slightly more than the popular 5200 model, but it’s shorter and wider and thus best suited for kitchens with a lot of counter space or those crippled by low-hanging cabinets. Because of this design, it’s more stable (read: quieter) than other Vitamix models, too. While the 7500 normally retails for $530, it’s going for just $406 on Amazon — that’s more than $120 in savings. — Jack Seemer
Clarks’ Classic Bushacre Chukka Boots
Save $50: Now at Nordstrom Rack, you can save 46% on Clarks’ Bushacre Chukka boot. Easy wearing and versatile, the Bushacre Chukka features the same silhouette as Clarks’ iconic desert boot, but it features a lightweight rubber sole and cushioned insole for comfort. Bulova Lunar Pilot Chronograph
Save $199: While the Omega Speedmaster is considered the preeminent moon watch, there have been many timepieces that have ventured into space, including a Bulova chronograph worn by Commander David Scott on the Apollo 15 mission in 1971. Bulova makes a tribute that remains visually faithful to the original but features a high-frequency quartz movement in place of a mechanical one. Given its quartz-regulated guts, the reissue retails relatively cheap, at $550, but right now, Amazon is offering the watch with a 36 percent markdown, making this already-affordable tribute to space exploration even more accessible. — Andrew Connor
Basin and Range Outdoor Apparel
Save 30%: Park City, Utah-based Backcountry is a gear retailer giant. Its virtual shelves are stocked with every imaginable piece of outdoor gear from over 1,000 brands, and its team of dedicated “Gearheads” are regularly testing new items in the Wasatch Mountains and beyond. All that gear knowledge goes directly toward stellar customer service, but it also means that Backcountry knows more than a thing or two about what makes gear good. And it makes perfect sense that Backcountry would create its own brand.
Basin and Range is that brand. Each piece contains both practical and stylish elements and is designed with mountain town living in mind. A pile fleece-lined work jacket, a tech fleece mid-layer and casual chino pants are just some of the items Basin and Range offers. But there’s much more than that, and right now it’s all 30% off. — Tanner Bowden
TRX Suspension Trainers
Save 24%: A good home gym doesn’t have to entail heavy and bulky, not to mention expensive, equipment. In fact, it can be portable, something that you can carry on an airplane and set up in a hotel room. It’s been proven by TRX, a suspension training system designed by a Navy SEAL. TRX takes mere seconds to set up, works indoors and out, and facilitates training programs sourced from the military and professional athletes.
For a limited time, you can purchase the TRX Tactical Suspension Trainer or the Rip Trainer for over 20% off, which is guaranteed to be less than that gym membership you’re about to start considering. — Tanner Bowden

The options span the breadth of the brand’s catalog and offer the same quality you’ve come to expect. A prime example is the Higgins Mill boot ($199), which normally retails for $350. It features Horween Chromexcel leather, a Dainite all-weather sole, Goodyear welt construction and a stacked leather heel. All of the factory seconds offered last just as long as any other Allen Edmonds products and they’re also resoleable — they just have an inconsequential blemish incurred in the handmade process. — John Zientek
Mystery Ranch Urban Assault 21L Pack
Save 22%: Mystery Ranch has deep roots in the outdoor industry — in 1985 its founder, Dana Gleason, invented a revolutionary internal frame design called ArcFlex that permanently changed how pack makers think about load bearing. But Gleason and co-founder Renee Sippel-Baker hit their stride when Navy SEALs approached them in search of custom packs. Now they craft bags for the military, backcountry firefighters and US Forest Service, as well as the everyday outdoorsman.
The Urban Assault pack (currently 22 percent off at Huckberry in select colorways) utilizes the same technical design features that make Mystery Ranch bags suitable for the most rigorous users but includes features that make it ideal for the urban inhabitant. It’s made with 500-denier Cordura nylon and has a unique three-zipper opening system, two internal accessory pockets, a laptop sleeve and a quick-access lid pouch. It also employs a fixed-harness frame system, which allows the commuter-friendly pack to perform like a high-end expedition backpack. — Tanner Bowden

Jaybird Freedom F5 Headphones
Save 67%: When Jaybird, one of the leading manufacturers of sports headphones, released the Freedom line in 2016, David Carnoy at CNET called it the “the best Jaybird headphone yet.” Michael Calore at Wired also had nice things to say; he scored the Freedom a 9/10, noting just one flaw: the $200 price tag. “For a wireless sports headset as stable, nice-sounding, and long-lasting as the Freedom,” he wrote, “they’re worth it, if you can afford them.”
Jaybird’s released other headphones since — perhaps most notably the X3 — but the first-generation Freedom is still a solid set of Bluetooth headphones for light workouts, daily commutes, etc. And it doesn’t cost $200 anymore. Right now on Amazon, the Freedom F5 (in black) is just $50. — Jack Seemer

Right now, Greats is offering up to 60 percent off select footwear styles, making them even more of a no-brainer buy. Philips Wake-Up Light
Save 22%: While smartphone alarms have become an exceedingly common way to wake up, research shows that having a smartphone in your bedroom has an overall negative impact on the quality of your sleep. While there are plenty of traditional analog and digital alternatives, Phillips’ unique Wake-Up Light promises to offer a gentler end to slumber. You still set a designated wake-up time, and an alarm does sound, but 30 minutes before you’re set to rise, the Wake-Up Light will gradually turn on and brighten, mimicking the natural waking ability of the sunrise. Right now, the clock is marked down to $88 — the lowest price ever offered on Amazon — when you clip the $25 coupon. — Andrew Connor
Rotring 800 Retractable Mechanical Pencil
Save 25%: As much as I’d like to mix metaphors and puns with phrases like “get the lead out” and “full metal jacket,” this pencil speaks for itself: a thoroughly over-built mechanical writing implement that will likely outlast whatever life-ending apocalypse finally destroys humankind. Our robot overlords will be drawing razor-sharp graphite lines and jotting notes well into the next epoch. Meantime, allow yourself a little new year splurge and enjoy showing off your new old-school tool.
The knurled grip, “brass mechanism for precision lead advancement” and “fixed lead guidance sleeve” are enough to warrant this pencil’s premium, but it’s the two-year limited warranty that really speaks to its quality. When’s the last time you sent in your pencil for service? Besides, we covered this guy’s legit little brother in our roundup of Best Mechanical Pencils a few years back. — Nick Caruso

Each bar comes packed with protein — 12 grams, which is ideal for a snack — thanks to all the egg whites and nuts in them. They’re perfect to keep at your desk or in your gym bag.

Save $95: Even though gym bags come in all shapes and sizes, most of them still look like gym bags — meaning, sporty and splashed with logos. Stuart and Lau’s Regimen is not. Constructed from waterproof DuraLite fabric with leather accents, the Regimen more closely resembles a suave carry-on than an everyday hauler for sweaty gear. But it does do that, and it does it exceptionally well thanks to a ventilated shoe compartment, multiple water bottle sheaths and a range of organizational sleeves for anything else you might be carrying, like a laptop or tablet. — Tanner Bowden
