It’s not as classic as brown or black, but it’s a color that’s still versatile enough to work with both jeans and chinos.— Justin Fenner

Save $25 on Raen Optics Sunglasses
Save $25: It’s easy to mistake Raen Optics as a brand that’s been around for decades, when in fact it was only founded just 10 years ago. Timeless style, signature architecture and high-end materials give Raen Optics a ranking closer to shades with five times the history and price tag. Today, you can get $25 off select Raen Optic styles. — Bryan Campbell
Instant Pot Ultra
Save $60: The Ultra is also the first Instant Pot to sport a full LCD display (though it isn’t a touchscreen), the first to automatically adjust cook times and temperatures to your altitude level (this is a real problem with less pressure cookers) and comes with a nice, slightly safer pressure release function.
The 8-quart Ultra, the largest of the model, is on sale on Amazon at 33 percent off its retail price.

AGV AX-8 DS Line
Save up to 42%: The original AX-8 hit shelves back in 2011, then AGV refined and evolved the design over multiple iterations, from pure dirt to pure street versions, then to dual sport and adventure iterations. By the time it got to the DS Evo dual sport, it was as far as AGV could take the AX-8. It’s a fan favorite on and off-road and now with the pre-orders open for the new incoming AX-9 AGV needs to make room so there are incredible deals on AX-8 models. You can now get up to 42% off on what’s still considered a benchmark dual sport helmet. — Bryan Campbell

Google Home Wi-Fi Mesh System
Save $30: If there are certain areas in your home that don’t get wi-fi – we call them “dead spots” – a mesh-router system is a great and simple solution. There are a number of popular mesh-router systems out there, and they all basically do the same thing, but Google’s own system, called Google Wi-fi, is probably the best. It’s the cheapest, for starters, and it’s also the easiest to set up and monitor. All you need to do is plug one “hub” into your modem and the app walks you through the rest. For those with a small home or an apartment, one hub is probably all you need: it covers an area between 500-1500 square feet. Normally $129, it’s down to just $99 at B&H right now.
Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance Starter Kit
Save $50: Not only are Philips Hue the most trusted smart lights you can buy, but they also work with everything: Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. So no matter which smart speaker you’ve built your home’s ecosystem around, these lights will slot right in. They’re easy to set up and allow you to mess around with up 50,000 shades of white. This starter kit, which consists of two lights and a Hue bridge (which is needed for them to work), normally costs $150, but you can buy it for $100 right now on Amazon.
Power Tools and Home Improvement Gear
Save Up to 40% Amazon, for all its might, has yet to conquer some markets of consumerism. In tools and home improvement gear, Home Depot and Lowe’s still reign supreme in price, reliability, customer service, availability and shipping.
Take this Milwaukee Tool workbench setup, which is $699 at Home Depot and over $1,000 on Amazon. Or this Husky tool cabinet, which is $249 at Home Depot and over $450 on Amazon. How about a Makita hammer drill driver combo kit? It’s $235 at Home Depot, $100 more on Amazon. Feel free to compare yourself, you’ll find similar patterns across the board.
You’ll notice the gap between traditional mass hardware store prices and Amazon prices widens even further the larger the product is — tool cabinets, lawnmowers and so on. Also, both offer in-store pick up for online orders, meaning you save even more cash to avoid fat shipping charges on those big-ticket items (and the potential for mailman clumsiness).
Today, during Home Depot’s Overstock Sale, price disparity with Amazon is widened further, with more than 190 power tools knocked up to 40 percent off. Not a bad time to capitalize.

Red Wing Heritage Pecos Boots
Save 47%: Though many people associate Red Wing with building work boots for farmers and factory employees in the Upper Midwest, the company also had an office in Dallas that opened in the early 1920s. To serve the Texas market where men preferred pull-on riding boots, Red Wing developed its own pull-on boot in the ‘30s. By the ‘50s, it had refined the style and given it the name of a small Texan town. And while the Pecos boot was developed in the rugged West, it quickly became a favorite across the country due to its simple silhouette, comfortable fit and durability.
If that sounds like a boot for you, head over to Nordstrom Rack for a very rare deal. You can save 47 percent on a pair of Pecos boots made with Black Skagway leather from the S.B. Foot Tanning Company in Minnesota. Currently, the style is available in sizes 7 to 10.5 (E width is standard for the Pecos silhouette) and it costs just $160. Pull them on, wear them hard, use them for years — they look equally at home on the ranch and in the city. — John Zientek

Sonos One (Bundle of Two)
Save $57: Sonos One speakers are great. I have two in my house, paired with another Play:1 speaker, and the three speakers combine in a seamless multiroom system that I control with my voice. Sonos normally sells its Sonos One speaker for $199 a pop, but it also sells bundle packs of two Sonos One speakers for $379, so you can save $20 if you know you want to buy two. That’ll save you another $37.

John Varvatos Fingerless Gloves
Save 78%: For the cool autumn months, fingerless knit gloves are something of a necessity. When the temperature dips and the wind picks up, they’ll keep your hands warm, but still easily allow for smartphone use. New York designer John Varvatos offers a classic iteration of the style that is now heavily discounted at Nordstrom Rack. You can pick up a pair in either gray or black for just $15 — that’s savings of 78 percent. — John Zientek
Ami Desert Boots
Save 30%: Parisian brand Ami offers a range of understated wardrobe staples for everyday wear. Designer Alexandre Mattiussi founded the brand in 2011 after working for Dior, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs, and as such, the clothes he creates for Ami are a reaction to the trend-driven garments made by his former high-fashion employers. A great example of the brand’s style is its Desert Boot, a classic three-eye style made from rich brown suede. Featuring a black crepe sole, the boot is both comfortable and versatile. And now at East Dane, it’s 30 percent off and costs $340. While definitely an investment, it’s sure to go with just about everything in your wardrobe. — John Zientek
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26
Zwilling Kitchen Knives
Save Up to 65% These knives, for the most part, are ugly. That is to say they’ve been marked as “visually imperfect” and thus sold way below the SRP. Zwilling assures that this won’t be a problem: “Product may have minor visual imperfections or a damaged box. Though this will not affect the product’s performance.” A whole host of blade sizes and styles are available in the clearance area, and we’ve picked some of the best below.
Italian-Made Clarks Desert Boots
Save 58%:Like many shoe brands, UK-based brand Clarks moved its manufacturing overseas in the mid-aughts. For over a decade, the brand’s iconic Desert Boots were made in countries including Vietnam and India, but recently the brand has focused on bringing production back to Europe. While Clarks is now manufacturing again in the UK, it is also building high-end versions of a few styles in Italy. You can pick up a pair of these Italian-made Desert Boots right now at Nordstrom Rack for only $80. That’s 58 percent lower than list price and $50 less than the brand’s entry-level Desert Boots — hard to argue with that. — John Zientek
