Founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser, Spyderco has been a mainstay of the knifemaking business for almost 50 years now. And the brand has more than earned its sterling reputation.

Not only does the outfit make excellent, distinct bladed tools, but it has been responsible for some serious innovations, including its signature Round Hole (which pioneered one-handed deployments) and the Compression Lock, one of the strongest and most reliable mechanisms to this day.

Unfortunately, Spyderco’s offerings come with a caveat: high quality comes at a high price. At least, most of the time. Right now, however, you can score up to (and over) $100 off a bunch of the brand’s stellar offerings during the Spyderco Holiday Sale.

Coincidentally, some of the same knives (and others) are also on sale at Blade HQ.

Whether you need to find a gift for the everyday carry knife fanatic in your life or you, yourself, are one such fanatic, this is among the best times to buy a Spyderco knife.
