Run it out

The Gel-Kayano is Asics’ longest-running shoe series, first making its debut in 1993. For 33 years, the runner has focused on stability, comfort and performance.

The latest version of the mega-popular shoe, the Gel-Kayano 33, is set to drop June 1st with notable upgrades in both technical components and aesthetics.

The biggest change coming to the Gel-Kayano 33 is the dual-cushioning stability system, a first for Asics. The system places soft and responsive FF Blast Max foam underfoot, layering it on top of firmer FF Blast Plus foam, which acts as the stabilizer.

The two-part foam combo is just one component of the new FluidSupport system, which uses updated geometry to offer better heel to toe movement.

Alongside the new stability underfoot, the Gel-Kayano 33 includes a reworked upper constructed with an engineered knit mesh, which offers better fit, breathability and movement.

The PureGel unit under the heel and an AsicsGrip outsole are brought over from the Gel-Nimbus 32.
